MAJOR CONCERNS

THE PLANET IS BURNING

Humanity must move to responsible consumption, most consumers are ready for it.

NEW CONSUMER EXPECTATIONS

32% of consumers are willing to pay more for a truly transparent product. (PWC study, 2020)

LOSS OF TRUST BETWEEN BRAND AND CONSUMER

More than 50% of brands did not provide enough information for consumers to judge the accuracy of their commitments. (2021 European Commission's Greenwashing Report)
Transparency is more important than ever before.

GREENWASHING & COUNTERFEITING

42% of environmental messages use exaggerated, false or misleading claims. (2021 European Commission's Greenwashing Report)
37% of consumers have already bought a counterfeit product. (IFOP for the Manufacturers Union - June 2018)

When we talk about major concerns, we mean that product information should be simply available.

Nowadays, consumers are looking for information such as: where products are being made, facts about by whom and how they were made, the brand’s social responsibility or how the brand helps to improve the world through sustainable practices like recycling and upcycling. Consumers want details on ingredients and proof of their compliance with important standards and regulations.

Even when brands engage in industry best practices they still struggle to get the word out, given the information overload present in modern society. Incredibly many brands are not taking advantage of one of the most effective media available: the information power of their own products.

OUR EXCLUSIVE INNOVATION

SORGA turns these concerns into opportunities

SORGA technology is the solution to help consumers in their quest for transparency by highlighting the brands that can provide easily verifiable and inviolable proof of their commitments, based on a low-consumption blockchain.

SORGA’s tamperproof digital passports are the most efficient way to bring auditable evidence of trust between each product and its owner, and to open the era of a new relationship between brands and consumers

Digital sovereignty

HOW IT WORKS

INFOGRAPHI_SORGA (3)

The process starts with the creation of a serialized passport accessible through a unique QR code printed on the product’s packaging or a biodegradable sticker.

This QR-code connects to a digital passport where you can find all product information and proofs of traceability and other transparent information.

Product information (such as when and where it was made, what it’s made of and who made it, if it’s authentic or not, how to dispose of the packaging once it has been consumed…) is captured through its life cycle.

When the consumer scans the QR Code with his/her smartphone, all this information is presented in an elegant web app.

Through the digital passport, consumers can send certified reviews, communicate with brands, declare the product’s ownership, and more.
